President Biden Condemns Antisemitism and Remembers Holocaust Victims Amid College Campus Protests

President Joe Biden delivered a keynote address at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum's Annual Days of Remembrance ceremony on Tuesday, May 7. Biden condemned the recent surge in antisemitism, including vandalism and violence at college campus protests, and called for an end to hatred against Jews. The president also drew a connection between the atrocities of the Holocaust and the recent Hamas attack on Israel, stating that 'the hatred of Jews continues to lie deep in the hearts of too many people in the world.' Biden emphasized the importance of peaceful protest and the rule of law, and reassured the Jewish community of his commitment to their safety and the security of Israel.
