Ohio State commencement speaker criticized for Bitcoin pitch, mentions using psychedelics for speech

Chris Pan, the commencement speaker at Ohio State University, drew criticism for encouraging graduates and attendees to invest in Bitcoin. Pan also revealed on LinkedIn that he had taken the psychedelic drug ayahuasca to write his speech, which was met with boos from the audience. University spokesperson Ben Johnson stated that Ohio State does not approve speakers' speeches beforehand and that the selection of speakers is based on a panel's review of nominations from the OSU community.

It's definitely an unconventional approach to a commencement speech. Involving personal experiences with psychedelics and promoting investment isn't what you'd expect. Hope the grads could still find some valuable takeaways from the day!
